Palm Sunday, Jesus enters Jerusalem. Judas shows his face. Barabbas is freed. Pilot condemns Jesus to death. Pilot washes his hands of Jesus. Jesus carries His cross. Jesus falls for the 1st time. Jesus meets his mother. Simon of Cyrene, helps to carry the cross. Veronica wipes the face of Jesus. Jesus falls for the 2nd time. Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem. Jesus falls for the 3rd time. Jesus is stripped of his clothes. Jesus is nailed to the cross. The solider gives Jesus vinegar to quench His thirst. Mother meet your son, son meet your mother. It is done. Jesus dies on the Cross. The soldier pierces Jesus' side. Joseph of Arimathea places Jesus in the tomb. Mary watches before leaving the tomb. Jesus has risen.
Tuesday 11th June was a wonderful day for Saint Columba’s School as we celebrated the opening of our new extension. We were joined by several important guests; including Bishop Michael Campbell, Canon Luiz Ruscillo and Monsignor Aiden Turner, as well as former headteacher Miss Patricia Hurley.
