Picture Tour

Welcome to the picture tour of our school.

The entrance to our school welcomes all visitors.  Join us and take a look around.

The computer suite:

The computer suite in our school is named the 'Leah Shuttleworth Suite'. Leah was a pupil at our school from 1917-1926. She was still coming in to school every week as a helper in 2001when she opened the suite. All the classes in school have lessons in the suite for ICT and some other subjects too.

The Rainbow Room:

The Rainbow Room was named by the children in the school. It is a bright and cheerful room and is used for group work and reading.

Infant Outdoor Learning Area:

This area is at the bottom end of the infant playground and Miss Flynn's class do some of their lessons here. Everyone likes playing on the train.

This is the icon of Saint Columba that is very special to us in school. The icon is displayed on the corridor so that all pupils see the icon every day.

Saint Columba's school is a very prayerful place and we have lots of art work around the school that reminds us of God's presence.

We are very lucky to have a prayer room where we can go and pray individually, with others during morning prayers, or as a class. This is a very peaceful place within our school and visitors are welcome to stop for a while and take some time to be quiet and prayerful.
